A Beginner's Guide to Affiliate Marketing

In 2023, there are so many ways to get rich. Some only require a phone or computer, Wi-Fi, and as little as 1-2 hours per day. Affiliate marketing is one of those ways. Without working long hours, you can make as much as 5k+ a day! Yes, that is half of what “successful” people make in a month in just one day. If someone puts good effort into it, they can easily make $500 a month using affiliate marketing as a side hustle. Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to become successful because true success is having time and financial freedom, and since affiliate marketers are self-employed, they have freedom of their time. It does no good to make millions if you can never enjoy your time. So, how can you make millions and only work 1-2 hours a day with affiliate marketing?

The first thing you do is create an account on some form of social media. I have had the most success with Instagram and TikTok, but X (Twitter) and Pinterest are other great options. Many of you may already have these installed on your phone. So go to them and create an account. You can either use the account you already have or create a new one. Once you have made the account, you need to figure out what kind of content you will post and post around five videos. Once you have done that, find other accounts like yours and go to followers. Follow all those people, and you will almost instantly gain your first 100 followers. Every follower is a potential customer. Now, find videos and keep posting. I recommend around five a day when starting so you gain more followers. But once you have gotten a lot of followers, you should only have to post 1-3 times a day, which takes around 15 minutes of your day!

Now you have followers, so you need to become an affiliate for a company. Many big companies have them. For example, Amazon, Callaway Golf, Walmart, and Lululemon all have affiliate programs. You can research for others. These affiliate programs are great because you can sell many popular things, but the commission rates are not high. A commission rate is the percentage of the product you get paid. For example, if you sell a $100 TV and the commission rate is 10%, you would earn $10. The higher the commission rate, the more you make. Many companies do not have high commission rates. But there are websites out on the internet. You can go to digistore24.com and sign up for and become an affiliate. These websites have commission rates of 50-100%! Once you have applied to be an affiliate for a company or website, you find a product to promote. The more expensive the product, the more you get paid. Once you find a product, put it in your social media account bio and tell your followers to click it. Then, reach out to people who seem interested in your page and inform them about your business and product.

This is all it takes to become a successful affiliate marketer. With little time, you can make your first million dollars with only your phone and an app.
